The Amalfi Coast's famed SS163, known as the Amalfi Drive, is a 50-kilometer stretch of road that winds along the Campania coastline between Sorrento and Vietri sul Mare. Completed in 1854 under the reign of Ferdinand II of Bourbon, this engineering marvel was designed to connect the once-isolated coastal villages, transforming the region's accessibility and economy. Today, the Amalfi Drive is celebrated for its breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, dramatic cliffs, and charming towns like Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello.

The region's terraced lemon groves, cultivated since the 10th century, are home to the unique Sfusato Amalfitano lemons. These large, fragrant lemons are integral to the local culture and cuisine, particularly in the production of limoncello, a traditional lemon liqueur. As the sun sets, the Amalfi Coast offers some of Italy's most stunning vistas. Notable spots include the terrace of Villa Cimbrone in Ravello and the Spiaggia Grande in Positano, where visitors can witness the sky ablaze with color over the sea.
