Cinque Terre by Train

The best way to explore Cinque Terre is by train. The Cinque Terre Express runs every 20 minutes between villages from 15 March to 2 November 2025, stopping at La Spezia, Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso and Levanto. Evening journeys after 7.30pm are available at a reduced rate. Tickets can be purchased at local stations or online via Trenitalia. A Cinque Terre Card offers unlimited travel and access to hiking trails. Trains are fast (4–6 minutes between villages), pet-friendly, and allow bicycles. Regional trains also connect Cinque Terre with cities like Florence and Milan. The service is reliable, scenic, and perfect for stress-free sightseeing along the coast
